I am only 6 months into Bill and Helen’s exchange of letters and am captivated by their story. The book paints a picture of forced patience as they wait for each letter to arrive, not knowing how the other is faring or feeling, hoping for one more moment together in the future. This is an extraordinary story of two individuals who fall in love across time and distance. Their belief in each other raises mine in those I love.
